Working with Doug was as good a contracting experience as I have ever had. He’s professional, always willing to please the customer, has integrity and more than any other, honest. Being an engineer who works with contractors all day long, these are qualities that are very hard to find. Doug has very good main subcontractors who appear to be very loyal to Doug which allows him some flexibility with scheduling. Don’t get me wrong, building a home will still have it’s difficulties, but you will worry about colors, roofing, bathroom fixtures, door knobs, lighting, etc,… and not have to worry about how the job get’s done. Now that it’s over (almost 2 years) we have a beautiful home with zero construction problems, and I mean zero. That alone says a lot. I would not hesitate to call Doug again for any future construction. In fact, I already have.
